- Guests arrive before the event. Several of us are having an informal dinner ~ 6pm in the hotel restaurant, all are welcome to join us.

Timing:
- Complementary breakfast at hotel and 5:30-7:30pm Happy Hour
- Picnic 11am-3pm
- Dinner at hotel 6pm -10 pm (events ending ~8:30)

- At Larkey Park ( Buena Vista Ave at First St., Walnut Creek)
- 1.1 miles from hotel
- In the Middle Lower Picnic Area (near center of park), we have a visible RICCI banner on the main table
Picnic events:
- Lunch: baguette sandwiches and ‘rolls’- (special diet options available), beverages, chips, cookies, fruit.
- Group photo
- Water Balloon toss
- Men vs. Women kickball game (oops not gender appropriate how about ‘They vs Them’?)
- Corn hole toss
- Site also has 2 children play areas, volleyball, Lindsay Wildlife Museum, and tennis courts
- We have park reservations from 7am to 9pm, for early/late access
Evening events: in the Embassy Suites – Hotel Alameda Room
- 6 pm: Families post their photos onto 8 ft. Family Tree
- 6:30 : Dinner served (Alcoholic drinks available via complementary happy hour 5:30-7:30pm or for purchase at lobby bar)
- ~7pm Anne presents ROOTS discussion including family genealogy booklets for each family
- ~7:30 : RAAT Droppings( Ricci Automotive Ancestry Trivia). Bob and Rich’s humorous look at Ricci mishaps with automobiles ( note: None of you will be spared). This is an electronic trivia game that you will need your cell phone to input your answers. First and second place “trophies” awarded.
- ~ 8-10 pm room open for conversation and tall tales
- 10 pm…. several bars close by for night owls and taller tales
- ~7pm Note: Bob and Rich are providing an airing of Disney’s Herbie the Love Bug ( luckily we are not in Florida where it is probably banned) in the back of the room to entertain and indoctrinate the next generation into car culture.
